Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) was an Italian painter, sculptor, architect, engineer, and scientist. He was one of the greatest minds of the Italian Renaissance, and his influence on the world is enormous.

Leonardo was a universal genius, as he excelled at both technical and creative endeavours in a wide variety of fields.

Leonardo never attended public school but growing up in his father's home he had access to scholarly texts owned by family and friends.

Historical evidences revel Leonardo as, his vision of the world is essentially logical rather than mysterious, and that the empirical methods he employed were unusual for his time.

Leonardo a man of unquenchable curiosity.
